Art nouveau is another of Aya Kato's influences, you can tell by looking at her work that it contains some of the elements from Art Nouveau. For instance, there is an element of pattern ad a lot of the appearances in Aya's characters such as the hair in the this Art Nouveau image are drawn or created in that curved, swirly effect.
